Sarri says he's aiming to bring the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo after becoming Juventus manager
Maurizio Sarri was presented today as Juventus new manager replacing Max Allegri, during his conference, Sarri seemed very excited to take over the Bianconeri and can't wait to start working with the Portuguese icon, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sarri came back to his homeland after having one season with The Blues Chelsea and couldn't help but to express his happiness upon joining the Serie A champions for eight seasons straight.
“When Juventus contacted me, the sensation was strong,”
And when he was asked what convinced him to join Junentus he said: “I had 30 years of negotiations with clubs, so I think I know how to read people by now. I can read when someone really believes in what he’s saying and is totally convinced.”
One of the exciting parts about managing his new team was the fact that he will have one of the best players in the world and the Ballon D'or five times winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.
“At Chelsea I coached some very strong players, but training Cristiano will be yet another step forward. I'd like to help him break some new records.” said the Italian.
Sarri knows what's expected from him in Juventus, “I expect to wake up every morning studying how to win games,”
But looks like the Europa League winner knows how he can do so, “You have to have clear ideas on two or three players who can make a real difference for the team and then give them an environment to truly express themselves. Then the formation is dictated by that.”
