Roma announce Manolas's transfer to Napoli

AS Roma have officially announced that their Greek defender Kostas Manolas will join Napoli

Napoli have now officially signed the Greek defender Kostas Manolas from club's rivals AS Roma for €36 million.

The 28 years old has been with Roma since five years in which he played 206 games, scored
8 goals and assisted 7 others and maybe one of his most famous and probably the most important one of his career was that he scored against Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals 2018 which gave his team the pass ticket to the semi-finals.

Amadou Diawara who is currently playing at the Africa Cup of Nations with Guinea, is expected to head the opposite way to Roma for €21 million.

Manolas is set to replace Raul Albiol at Napoli as the Spanish defender is on the verge of going back to La Liga to join Villarreal.
