Former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri says he intends to take a year off of coaching
Former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri, 51, after winning the Serie A with Juventus for five straight years and qualifying to the Champions League final for two years, has decided to part ways with the old lady.
The Italian former professional football player has just announced he intends to take a year off to recharge the batteries as he said: ''I'm going to take a year off to recharge the batteries and take my personal life back in hand,'' his announcements have put an end to the rumors which linked him with Chelsea as a replacement for Sarri who intends to take over Juventus.
The Italian has described his 16 years career as a spin-dryer saying: ''The last 16 years have felt like being in a spin-dryer.'' a career which he won the Serie A six times, one with AC Milan and five with Juventus.
