Liverpool are keen on signing Real Madrid's star Marco Asensio and are readying a bid of £67m
Maybe it's time for the Champions League winners to move into the market and snatch some talents and looks like the German coach has eyes set on Real Madrid's star, Marco Asensio.
According to El Desmarque, Liverpool are willing to pay £67m for the 23 years old when Real Madrid have already rejected two offers this season for Marco as the French head-coach insists to have him in the squad for the future.
It would not be easy for Real Madrid to let go of Asensio who's got the attention of Klopp who sees in him the perfect replacement for Mohamed Salah should the Egyptian gets injured or exhausted.
But, it's reported that Zidane would only agree if the Premier League runner-ups included Sadio Mane in the deal which could only make the it more complicated than it is as Klopp is not ready to let go of his skilled winger.
Asensio, who joined Real for just €3.5 million from Mallorca in 2015, made 44 appearances for Los Blancos last season, but his development has somewhat stalled but we could see another version from him under Zidane next season and could shine as he did in previous seasons under the French man's management.
