Manchester City have announced Kyle Walker signed two-year contract and is now committed to the club until 2024
The England right back has agreed terms with the Premier League champions Manchester City to extend his contract until 2024.
After the England giants closed the deal technically with the Juventus's right back Cancelo, many doubted that Walker would be happy to continue with the club as his position is now in danger with the brilliant Portuguese on the doors.
However, the 29 years old has agreed to extend his contract with the citizens until 2024 showing that he's happy and ready for any challenge. Not only that, he said that renewing was an easy decision:
“It was an easy decision. I want to be competing for trophies, playing at the highest level and I feel I have improved hugely as a player during my time here.” said England right-back.
Walker joined Manchester City from Tottenham in 2017 for £45 million, during his time with the citizens, he made 100 appearances, scored 2 goals and assisted 8, winning 2 Premier League titles (2018-2019), 1 FA Cup (2019), 2 EFL Cups (2018-2019) and 1 English Super Cup (2019).
