Barcelona have announced they have reached an agreement to sell Andre Gomes for Everton for £22 million plus add-ons.
Both Barcelona and Everton confirmed on Twitter that an agreement was reached between the two clubs for moving the Portuguese middle-fielder permanently to Goodison Park.
The deal will cost £22 million plus add-ons, Barcelona confirmed and the player is to sign five years contract, reports say.
Andre Gomes, 25, joined Barcelona from Valencia summer 2016 for €35 million and he couldn't shine in the Camp Nou as he could in Mestalla, in fact, the fans would say he's one of the worse signing in the history from the BlueGrana.
The pressure from the press and the fans got his best from him, admitted the Portuguese in a previous interview and thou the fans decided to sheer him up, he still couldn't show what is needed to be part of a big club such as Barcelona.
Gomes moved on a loan to Everton summer 2018 along with two other players from Barcelona, Luca Digne and Yerry Minna.
However, this time, Andre Gomes showed different colors in Goodison Park with his good performance, which made the club's directors decide to sign him permanently and 'free' him from Barcelona, said Everton's chairman on a previous interview.
