Barcelona have completed the signing of Real Betis's left-back Junior Firpo for €18m plus €12 in add-ons
Real Betis's left-back, Junior Firpo, 22, has joined Barcelona on a deal that can end up costing the Catalans €30m
The player will sign five-year contract with Barcelona with a release clause of €200m.
Firpo is a fast and skilled left-back who made a great season with Real Betis last season, payed 29 matches and scored three goals and assisted five others.
Despite being born in the Dominican Republic, he is a Spanish international with the U21 team. He was part of the squad that won the U21 European Championship in 2019, and, as a key player, contested three games in the tournament.
Firpo played only one match against Barcelona, during which he scored one goal and assisted another showing a great performance.
Firpo is the fourth signing of La Liga champions this summer after De Jong from Ajax, Neto from Valencia, Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona have recently sold Malcom to Zenit Petersburg for €40m plus €5m in add-ons.
